Delilah
How one medium size dog can change your life forever...
Delilah and I began our journey together when she was 8 years old. She was my first dog and I was her final guardian. She had been a companion dog, was trained in German to be a protection dog, and her owner before she came to live with me kept her in a crate for more than 12 hours a day. Then she came to me, a rookie who knew nothing about taking care of a dog let alone a dog with so much training. Delilah would become my best friend and confidant. She taught me more about devotion and unconditional love than any human could. She also taught me what was important in life and to take life as it comes. And, that if there is love all things are possible.
I loved Delilah, I treasured our time, I treated her well but the world (as it does) spins so fast that I never truly realized how much she meant to me and how wonderful a friend she was to me, until she was gone. I am so happy for all our good times but mourn for the times I should have spent with her and didnŐt and the times I scolded her when the world was being bad not her. Her unconditional love for me and her instant forgiveness were amazing.
Delilah's positive attitude, perky step and the wag of her tail each day made me never feel alone. She was my light and I will forever be grateful for the 5 short years we spent together. She made life enjoyable and hard times easy. God blessed me with Delilah's devotion and I will carry her memories forever in my heart.

Rudy (October 30, 2009)
What can I say about Rudy. He consumed my whole life from the moment he was born December 1 2008 till he died August 21 2009. He continues to capitivate my thoughts even now. This little puppy never had the coordination to walk due to a congenital defect yet he traveled more in his short life than most dogs do in their whole life. He tought me so much about courage and how to live each day to the fullest. His life was consumed with love and he gave it back three fold. I will alway love you Rudy! The trials we went through were well worth it and I would do it again if I had the chance.
Rosco (October 5, 2009)
Although I didn't have Rosco for very long, he changed my life forever. He looked perfectly healthy on the outside, but he was almost one year old and his previous owners had not had him vaccinated. I had him vaccinated as soon as I got him, but it was too late. Everyone at Happy Endings Dog Rescue went over and above when it came to Rosco...and I can't thank them enough. Rosco is an example of how important it is to vaccinate your pets, so that they may live a long, healthy, happy life.
Blue (August 15, 2009)
Blue left this earth on August 15, 2009. He was a happy dog who loved all who crossed his path. His owner, Pamela carries Blue in her heart and will join him again in another lifetime. Happy travels Blue.
