Happily Ever After
Actually, all of our dogs live happy lives once they are under our care. Many are adopted by loving families in a few days. Others stay for awhile until they gain weight; receive needed medical attention and/or special training. When they are whole again, we find the right family who will love and care for them. The ones who aren't adopted stay with us as part of our family. They help us meet new dogs who come in and make them feel at home.
Our Dogs Receive the Best of Care.
Every dog that is surrendered to us or that we find wandering the streets, we microchip. Next we bathe and examine them top to bottom and take care of whatever medical problem there may be. Then we vaccinate. After the dog is all fixed up, he's allowed to make friends. His daily routine includes romping in the play yard, enjoying a bath, eating a nutritious diet, and snoozing on a comfortable bed. We're proud to say that our dogs are spoiled, but they are also trained.
Take Penny for example. When we found her she had 12 puppies. All the puppies were placed in good homes, but no one wanted Penny so she became our office dog. She's now regained her weight and has learned new tricks. We taught her to roll over, speak and crawl. She's also a big help shredding papers. How did we ever manage without her?
